Book a free visit to our future farming facility, the Littlest Big Farm, and come learn about the low and high tech that went into building this off-the-grid zero-net-energy food facility!
We are in our 4th year of building and growing and so our facility is still small. Expect ~30 minutes of tour and learning and playing with mealworms and indoor controlled environment agriculture (CEA)! After that you can head up the road to Oak Glen and enjoy the view and food, downtown Yucaipa for a stroll, or many other places around town!
Recommended tour size of up to 8 people or 1 family.
Disclaimers:
- This is our pilot program for free educational tours, depending on how the trial tours go we may expand or rethink the concept.
- We are a small-scale farm, there are hazards like gopher holes, black widows (rare), and more. We do our best to keep it safe but you are accepting any liability when you come to the farm (we do have first aid in case it’s needed!) but this is a combined commercial and residential farm.
- Those with shellfish allergies might have issues with mealworm skins. Proceed with wisdom. There’s still plenty to see outside of the mealworm mansion!
- Our neighbor’s dogs keep the neighborhood safe. Please don’t reach out to them through the fence, they will do what they do best: guard their home (and we don’t want anyone booped or bit)
- We do not have a bathroom yet, please make sure to use one ahead of time!
- Let us know of any special needs or requests and we will do our best to accommodate you or your loved one!

Until then, please put 2 – 3 ideal date, time, and number of visitors combinations in the order notes using this example format below and we will respond within 24 hours with which booking works and any additional details:

Saturday, February 19, 2024, 12-12:30 PM – 8 people
